February picnic


We have had to cancel the picnic today due to bad weather. Sorry for any inconvenience. We are planning to hold it in March, will let you know the date ASAP.

If you are in a mixed African-Australian couple or family, you are invited to our next picnic at the water play park in Marrickville:

Family Fun Day – 27 July

This is a free event for our members and supporters.

Come along, meet other families and enjoy a relaxed winter afternoon while the kids participate in workshops and other fun activities.

February picnic

The waterplay park at Steel Park, Marrickville.

Bring your cossies and some food to share/BBQ. The waterplay park is a family friendly Park with BBQs, playground, soccer field, and it’s right on a bike path along the Cooks river.

Picnics in March & April

We’ve planned out our picnics for the next couple of months:

Saturday 26 March – 1.00pm – 5.00pm, bring your cossies to the new waterplay park at Steel Park in Marrickville

Sunday 17 April– 1.00pm – 5.00pm, AAN goes back west for a picnic in Central Gardens Reserve in Merrylands

For those of you travelling by train from Central. We will be at the entrance of platform 11 @ 10.30 (get your return ticket to Woy Woy first) see you then.

Well people, the final official event of the year is upon us.
To share the love with the coastal tribe we will be having the BBQ @/near Fishermans Wharf Woy Woy.

For those travelling from the city we will be looking to meet and travel by train from central station (will have notification of a meeting point soon)
