We’ve set the dates for our next few events:

Saturday 15 September – Penrith – location TBA. Sausage sizzle provided.

Sunday 21st OctoberPirrama Park in the city

Saturday 17th November – fundraising lunch at a member’s home in Blacktown – details TBA.

Saturday 8th December – Central Coast –Avoca Beach again

Our picnics go from 1.00pmto 5.00pm.

AAN’s winter Picnics

We have planned out our picnics for the next few months – hope you can join us one of these crisp winter afternoons.

Saturday 26 May: Sydney Park, St Peters

Sunday 24 June: Holroyd Gardens, Merrylands

Saturday, 28 July: Pirrama Park, Pyrmont (catch the light rail, Get out at the Casino & walk down Pirrama Rd to the waterfront park)

Join us for dinner – 7.00pm Friday 4 May at Lat Dior in Enmore.

After dinner the plan is to head off to the Keyim Ba gig at 505 – hope you can make it along to that too.

February picnic

Hope you can join us at Holroyd Gardens, Merrylands, for our next picnic on Sunday, February 26, from 1.00-5.00pm.

January Picnic

We hope you can make it along to one of our picnics over the next few months. The first is at Sydney Park in St Peters on Saturday 2st January.

We’ll meet at the playground near the carpark.

December events

We hope you can join us for a couple of end-of year events.

This coming Saturday, 10 December, we are gathering for our last picnic of the year at Avoca beach on the Central Coast from 1.00pm – 5.00pm. More details below. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates in case of bad weather.

On Saturday December 17 join us for an adults only dinner at the African Feeling Cafe, 501 King St. Newtown from 7.00pm (drumming performance starts at 7.30). Please RSVP to admin@australianafricannetwork.org.au or on Facebook (you will need to joing our FB group first).

Annual General Meeting

You are invited to attend AAN’s Annual General Meeting.

To make things easier for everyone we decided to hold it immediately before our next picnic (see below).

In order to vote you must be a member of AAN, so renew your membership or join now. Download membership form. Hope to see you there.
